At TDIS we use a healthy combination of both traditional and advanced technologies in helping pupils and students achieve their maximum potentials, we have adopted the use the Montessori style of education, DNA-G2 and DCS.
We offer a healthy combination of the National curricular with international programs and professional courses such as ACCA x, GRE and GMAT
Our objective is not just centered on the academic development of the student but the holistic development as well to bring out the best in them. We have well furnished facilities with the necessary materials and our classrooms accommodate a controlled number of students.
Our well trained facilitators focus their planned lessons and activities on the interests, abilities and unique nature of the students.

TDIS offers students the opportunity to do industrial attachment programs at the High School level, to make them locally and internationally competitive; they also acquire skills in swimming and driving as part of their co-curricular activities.
TDIS students take periodic internal examinations by our local exams body and also take external examinations with our affiliate public schools, to help and guide in performance matching.

PHILOSOPHY
At TDIS we believe that every child is specially gifted with unique innate and apparent qualities to meet every academic challenge and that can be unearthed by the employment of modern and preeminent teaching and learning methods .
HISTORY
The Danquah International School (TDIS) was established in November 2014. It was founded by Mr. Patrick Apea-Danquah and Miss Sylvia Mereku all former students of the University of Cape Coast with support from Mr. Fredrick Apea-Danquah a retired Secretary of the West African Examination Council (WAEC).
It emanated from research carried out in some Private Senior High Schools in Accra, the result of which indicated that students who applied to Private Senior High Schools in the late nineties applied with aggregate scores ranging from 18 to 35 from the Basic Education Level (B.E.C.E.). Our extensive research proved that it was possible to prepare such students to qualify with competitive grades and take up both regular programs and professional courses at the polytechnic and University levels.
The school (SHS Department) started with 3 students and 4 teachers and increased to almost a hundred (100) students and 18 teaching and non-teaching staff within a year. SHS Department was put on hold to focus on Primary and Junior High schools from the 2018 academic year.
TDIS currently has 2 campuses located in the heart of Accra, Tesano. Campus A houses the preschool through to Junior High School and Campus B has the Senior High School which will be re-opened for the 2024 Academic year.
